Choosing a web development agency is a trust decision. You are handing your brand, your money and months of momentum to a team you probably found online. The good news: a few direct questions expose almost everything you need to know before you sign anything.
The 8 questions that matter
- Can I see live websites you built? Screenshots can hide anything. Live sites you can click, test on your phone and run through a speed test cannot. Browse our projects and test any of them right now.
- Who exactly will build my site? Some agencies sell the project then subcontract it. Ask to know the actual team. Meet ours, photos, names and roles included.
- Is the price fixed or hourly? Hourly billing means the risk is yours. Fixed pricing means the scope was thought through. We work on fixed-price packages for exactly this reason.
- Will my site be fast? Ask for their recent projects' PageSpeed scores. If speed never comes up, it will come up later, at your expense.
- Who owns the website after launch? The correct answer is you: domain, hosting, code and content. Walk away from anyone who keeps your domain hostage.
- What happens after launch? Sites need updates and support. Ask what is included, what costs extra and how fast they respond.
- Can you connect it to my other tools? Payments, booking, CRM, automation. A website that stands alone is already behind.
- What do you need from me? A serious agency will ask you hard questions about your customers and goals. If they only talk design, they are decorating, not building.
Local, international or both?
Distance matters less than process. A disciplined team with clear communication serves clients anywhere. We build from Northern Negros Occidental for clients in Australia, New Zealand, the USA and the UAE alongside businesses here at home, with the same fixed-price process for everyone.
Red flags to run from: no live portfolio, prices that change mid-project, ownership of your domain, and silence for days when you ask a question.
